Superheros and Pasta

We decided to turn a random Thursday into a fun little date night!

We decided to catch up with the rest of the world and finally watch Black Panther. This movie gave me all the feels-I was stressed, teary, and I had chills every other scene. It was ridiculous, but I loved it and so did the hubs. We could not stop talking about it!

Another thing we had been talking about wanting to do for a while was eat at Eataly. Eataly is located inside of a mall and is known for having all things Italian. Breads, cheeses, meats, pastas, sweets and to top it off they have quite a few restaurants.

We wanted to go to La Pizza and La Pasta. The plan was initially pizza (we love our pizza), but after getting there we decided we HAD to try a pasta dish.

We aren’t big pasta people. I love carbs, but I don’t usually crave a pasta dish. My carb of choice is usually bread based :D. BUT seeing the wafting bowls of pasta go by we couldn’t resist!

We did get the margherita pizza and the pasta dish we picked was the tagliatelle that was tomato based and had brisket.

The margherita was amazing-the crust was fluffy and chewy and beautiful.

The pasta was perfectly sauced and the brisket was fall apart tender. It came together so perfectly-it was our favorite of the two!

If you haven’t been you gotta go and you have to have the tagliatelle with brisket! It is seriously a dish fit for a superhero 😉
